October, the most beautiful month of the year in

New Orleans, is here. I’ve been thinking about autumn lately.

As I reflect on the seasons, I find myself fully in the autumn

of my life, even though I am an eternal summer girl!

It's a symbolic time encompassing concepts of change,

 letting go, gratitude and renewal.

Just as leaves fall from trees, autumn encourages the

release of old habits, or things that no longer serve us,

creating space for new beginnings.

The autumnal equinox, the day when day and night are equal, symbolizes balance and as days shorten, it prompts a turn inward encouraging introspection and self reflection. The season signals

a shift toward the colder months, encouraging us to bring our own warmth and light to every encounter...

Autumn's lesson is clear: letting go is not a loss but a preparation for what is to come. Remember that nothing is permanent and change

is constant. Trusting in the ongoing cycle of change allows us to

feel more secure and hopeful about the future.

The process is liberating, making way for creativity,

new opportunities and achieving one's potential.

Bringing this around to art and beauty,

we have assembled a show of

beautiful autumnal colors in art…

enjoy and embrace the transformation!

Let us remember that beauty is a constant and

that art inspires and uplifts the spirit!

With love and gratitude,

Angela
