It has been a great honor to serve you as President of the Alabama CCIM Chapter. Many thanks to our exceptionally strong Board of Directors - it has been a privilege to serve alongside each one of you this year! There is no way we could have had such a great year without all of our chapter sponsors. Thank you for your support this year!
Our chapter has a long history of providing exceptional benefits to its members and we were able to deliver again in 2015. At the onset of the year we set out to increase communication, provide more networking opportunities, deliver quality educational events, expand our university outreach program and have one new key event. I am pleased to announce that we met all of our goals!
A few highlights are listed below from our action-packed Fall slate of events:
Our first annual fundraiser for United Way was held at The Kress Building in Birmingham October 15th with BCRC and NAIOP. We were able to raise over $6,500 to The United Way of Central Alabama!
We pinned 6 new designees in Austin, TX at the Annual CCIM Meetings. Congratulations to Steve Mordecai, Whit Bird, Gene Cody, Jeff Jones, Cameron Weavil and Stan Huner.

Our 3rd Annual CRE Holiday Party, held at the beautiful Florentine Building, was a great celebration co-hosted by BCRC, CREW, ICSC, IREM, and ULI. As I reflect on this last year, I can't help but be excited about the future of our chapter. Bryan Holt will be serving as president next year and already has great things planned.
