Good Afternoon Alabama Region PCA!

Hello AL PCA members and friends! Welcome to 2026! We are so excited for another fantastic year with our Alabama PCA family! Our "I Can't Drive 55" Members helping Members Charity Drive last month benefiting the Heglar family was a fantastic turnout and for such a worthy cause. Members helped provide the Heglar children with a wonderful Christmas. A huge shoutout to Al Ellison, and Jen Ellison for all of their work running this event, and coordinating everything! Also a special thank you to Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Motorcycle Patrol for escorting us! Some highlights are below!

I am grateful for all of you as members, and for the opportunity to be your Club President another year! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Porsches & Coffee &

THIS Saturday, January 10th

Our monthly Porsches & Coffee is THIS Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 a.m. @ Porsche Birmingham. As a reminder Porsches & Coffee happens every 2nd Saturday at Porsche Birmingham. Start time is 10:00 a.m. Park on Right side of building. Items will be raffled. Coffee and Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits are provided (while they last).

Ferus Artisan Ales

Our Third Thursday Social this month will be at 5:30pm on Thurs., January 15th at: Ferus Artisan Ales, 101 Beech Street, Suite 111, Trussville, Alabama. Please join us for great food, great drinks, and most importantly, great friends! Please RSVP with the number attending in your party to Glenda Sparacio We hope to see you there!

Annual Polar Bear Run

Saturday, January 24, 2026

Our annual Polar Bear run will depart Porsche B'ham (with full tanks) @ 8:15am on Sat (1/24) with Cheaha as the destination followed by lunch at the Back Porch Grill on Lake Logan Martin. Please arrive early to attend the 8:00am drivers meeting. - It is imperative that all drivers AND PASSENGERS register on www.clubregistration.net so that PCA gets their waivers signed & we have a head count for lunch!! - PCA national requires that everyone eSign their waiver AND then you will receive an email or text for you to click & confirm your signature - If not already in club reg, participants will need to create independent log-in credentials - If the waiver is not completed you will unfortunately NOT be confirmed - The dealership will be open for us - restrooms & coffee will be available - Cheaha charges a $5pp entrance fee, $2 if a senior, free if a veteran with an ID. AL PCA Car Control Clinic

Alabama PCA will host a Car Control Clinic (CCC) on Saturday, February 28th, 2026. This is a great opportunity for members to safely explore the full potential of their vehicles (limited to Porsche cars) to improve their driving skills. The focus is to learn solid car control principles, load transfer, vehicle dynamics, manage inputs, understanding how tires reacts when pushed to the edge. And to be better, safer drivers. The program is intended to complement and enhance our existing High Performance Driver’s Education (HPDE) programs in a safe and non-intimidating, fun environment. Event will be held at the fabulous Barber Motorsports Park Proving Grounds, adjacent to the track. This facility is amazing if you have not had the opportunity to see it. Now you can! Featured Drills: 1 classroom session, two rotations on Skid pad, Figure 8, Slalom/autocross, Threshold and trail braking. Program will run with 4 groups of 5 vehicles, capped at 22 total drivers. Registrations will be awarded on first come basis for Porsche vehicles only. Cost is $375 per driver, which includes lunch at the event. This is a full day event: drivers will check in at 7:00 am and event wrap up around 5:15pm Reach out to our HPDE Chair, Tim Thornton if you have questions.

As a reminder, our events may be limited in size based upon venue's capacity or other limiting factors, and are only for our members. You may need to sign-up/RSVP according to event instructions. Events with fees require payment to secure reservations. Events are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED in terms of registration, and waiting lists may occur. If after registration you can no longer attend please notify us so we can offer your spot to waitlisted members. If space becomes available, earliest registration payment will be selected.
