A LABCA News and Updates
Our mission is to educate, honor and promote the state's amateur baseball players and coaches.
January 2019
The 10th Annual A LA BCA First Pitch Dinner & Silent Auction, which benefits the Miracles Leagues of Alabama, featured 2018 National Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee, Jack Morris. The dinner’s proceeds goes to the 13 active Miracle Leagues and seven cities raising money to build Miracle League fields throughout the state. This year's dinner, held on January 31 in downtown Montgomery, sold a record 28 tables, which means more money can be given to the Miracle Leagues.
Jack Morris, center, looks back at his Montgomery Rebel team picture as Montgomery resident and former teammate, Shelly Burnside, points to the picture.
Ted Brazzell (far R), his bullpen catcher and Montgomery resident looks on and Ron Jackson (far L), former Boston Red Sox player and Birmingham resident, enjoys the reminiscing.

Chris Prothro (South Alabama) led the hitting hot stove with some quality interaction and information.
