PTC would like to inform our Mekorma MICR customers of a potential issue that can arise with your Mekorma MICR software.
We have been receiving support requests from customers receiving the following MICR error message:
"Error: Unhandled Object Exception: The Parameter is incorrect."
Unfortunately, there is a compatibility conflict between Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 and builds of Mekorma MICR earlier than those noted below. This framework was distributed as part of the Windows 10 Creator version, but is available for other versions of Windows. The conflict was resolved in version 2013R2 b455, 2015R2 b155 and 2016 b55 and all subsequent Mekorma MICR versions.
We strongly warn you to not install Microsoft .NET 4.7 unless you have updated your MICR software to the current version . If you require support on this issue, please email support@ptcllc.com. Or for additional information on updating your MICR software, please contact Arlene Herdt.
