Newly Developed UV-Curing Epoxy Resin for Dome Coatings
Techsil introduce Vitralit
®
UC 6686 a newly developed light curable epoxy adhesive from manufacturer Panacol. Upon exposure to ultraviolet light, it cures in seconds to form a crystal clear, extremely hard, scratch resistant surface perfect for dome coatings or decorating glass and plastics.
Vitralit® UC 6686 is an epoxy resin based single-component adhesive, which cures rapidly under UV light. Developed especially for dome coatings, its high viscosity makes it ideal for automatic dispensing and application of doses in very close pitch precise patterns without spreading. Curing to a curved dome it can optically magnify and enhance the appearance of a label or structure underneath it.

Momentive RTV Silicone Adhesives win Airbus Industrial Qualification
Techsil is delighted to announce that five of Momentive's one part RTV silicone adhesive sealants have achieved Airbus Industrial Qualification for use in aircraft assembly, maintenance, repair and overhaul.
These are extremely versatile, tough, durable and resilient. They offer low temperature flexibility, self-adhesion, high temp performance and electrical insulation, excellent weatherability, ozone and chemical resistance

High Specification Underfill Product with Thermal and Shock Resistance
Underfill agents in electronics absorb physical and thermal shocks between surface-mounted chips and the board. Generally, there is a trade off between improving physical shock resistance, and thermal shock resistance. There have been no underfill agents which have these conflicting characteristics, but ThreeBond 2274S makes it a reality. (Also in this range is TB2274E it has a quicker cure time at 120
°C at 5 mins instead of 10, a lower CTE and lower Tg).
