Dear United Way,
Our annual campaign season is in full swing! Roy Bibb, President of MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, is leading the way as our Campaign Chair for 2023-2024. This exciting effort aims once again to bring our diverse workforce in Central Georgia together for a common purpose.
This year our message revolves around ALICE -Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed households. You know ALICE. You see them every day. They are the childcare worker at your daycare, the cashier at your supermarket, aging parents on Social Security, waiters & waitresses, office clerks, and others. They are essential, yet they struggle to survive.
Current estimates are that 35% of our community are ALICE families. These hardworking people are one paycheck away from financial ruin. They live in continuous fear of an unexpected bill that may extend them beyond their already tight budgets. Our focus is to help them become more financially stable and create better lives for themselves and their neighborhoods.
When you give to United Way, you're not just giving money; you're contributing to the strength of your community. Financial stability for these families means a stronger, more resilient community for everyone. Your support goes a long way in creating a better environment for all of us to live in.
Your support serves as an anchor of hope for these families. It provides them with the means to improve their situations and work towards brighter futures. Your kindness is a beacon of positive change that shines even in challenging times.
Your support matters! It's a chance to make a direct impact on the lives of families in need, build a stronger community, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Join us in making a difference today!
With heartfelt gratitude,
