Join ALIGN for Cultural Solutions 101, Virtual, April 23 - 25, 2025. Join us on February 18, 2025, ZOOM (1:00 – 2:30 p.m.) for ALIGN’s inaugural Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Community of Practice meeting! This meeting will serve as an introduction to our CoP, where members will have the opportunity to connect and share their insights.
During this session, we will discuss potential topics for future meetings, establish the frequency of our gatherings, and explore how we can collaboratively enhance our OHS practices within our community. Your input is valuable, as we aim to create a supportive environment for learning and sharing best practices.

Well-Being Community of Practice (CoP) Session
Join Us! Virtual, February 18, 2025 (9:00 to 10:30 a.m.) for our next Community of Practice; in the session, we will be hosting guest speaker Elaina Mack and her colleagues from the Ministry of Children and Family Services.
Elaina will share information on “Story Harvesting.” A collaborative process that opens opportunities to learn and reciprocate learning. The process invites listeners to “harvest” stories and share what they heard, supporting all participants to be connected throughout the experience. If you are new to the ALIGN Well-Being Toolkit, we encourage you to check out the Quick Start Guide.

On December 4, 2024, Alberta’s government updated several workplace safety rules, including those related to violence and harassment. Some of the new rules also give employers more flexibility in how to meet their health and safety goals. Until March 30, 2025, employers can choose to follow either the new rules or the rules that were in effect before December 4.
