ALIGN Presents Two-Spirit/Indigiqueer Pasts, Presents, & Future Virtual June 13, 2024 | |
June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. ALIGN is hosting Rae Madge (they/she), program coordinator for Where The Rivers Meet at the Fyrefly Institute for Gender & Sexual Diversity, Virtual, on June 13, 2024, for the ‘Two-Spirit / Indigiqueer Pasts, Presents, & Futures’ webinar.
In this workshop, we will explore the history of gender and sexual diversity on Turtle Island (now known as North America) pre-colonization, recognize the effects of colonization on Indigenous gender diversity historically and currently, and develop an appreciation for current Two-Spirit/Indigiqueer figures and movements. We will also identify strategies for accepting, supporting, and celebrating Indigiqueer LGBTQ+ (Two-Spirit) folks. REGISTER HERE

This dataset information contains aggregated data from 2013-2024: Date, Shelter Name, Total Approved Beds, Number of Beds funded by SCSS, Number of Beds funded by SCSS for Winter Emergency Response, and Daily Occupancy.
The Ministry of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction (SARTR), in partnership with the Ministry of Technology and Innovation, is leading a project to modernize the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC) - Alberta's electronic tendering site. Revised April 2024 Enhancement Policy Manual
The Enhancement Policy Manual contains policies and procedures that direct casework staff when delivering services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act. The Manual is a provincial policy and procedural requirements that all casework staff in Child and Family Services Authorities and Delegated First Nation Agencies are expected to comply with. The policies provide direction and procedures for most common situations. View Here
