HSV JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK!

We’re excited to announce the start of the 27th year of the HSV Junior Golf program! Orientation will take place on Mon, June 2 at 4 PM. at the Balboa Pavilion. During orientation, member cards will be distributed and there will be a brief introduction to the program, highlighting the important role our volunteers play in making Junior Golf a success.

The first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4. Beginners will practice at the Magellan practice range from 9 to 10:30 AM, while 9-hole and 18-hole players will meet at the Granada driving range from 9 to 10 AM. We are currently seeking instructors to assist during these practice sessions—your help makes a difference!

Practices will be held every Wednesday in June and July, except for the week of July 4 and the last week in July, when we’ll host our two-day season-ending tournament. If you’re interested in volunteering as an instructor or have any questions, please text Gary Sikes at (501) 226-8075.

Course Maintenance

Please remember to fix ball marks and fill in divots while maintaining the pace of play.

Pace of Play:

Please be aware of the rules to assist with the pace of play.

Please give the right of way to our maintenance workers. The safety of our maintenance staff needs to be our priority as golfers. Let them move out of the way before hitting your shot. 

Activity is picking up on all courses! Please remember to stop and check for traffic before crossing roads in a golf cart.

Vehicles have the right of way, so always stay alert and prioritize safety. We work to keep crossings clear for better visibility in both directions—help us keep everyone safe by staying cautious and aware.
