REMINDERS ABOUT THE PSAT DAY (October 25th, 2022)
- It will be an Early Release Day: dismissal at 12:30PM12th graders do NOT report to school on 10/25/2021
- All 9th through 11th graders are automatically registered to take PSAT on October 25, 2021. Fulton County Schools pays for 9th and 11th grade test takers and the state of Georgia pays for 10th grade test takers.
- It is critical for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to be in attendance on this testing day. We kindly request to consider NOT checking your child out of school for ANY reason during that day so they can complete the entire test.
- There are NO MAKE UP SESSIONS for the PSAT. So, if they do not finish their test in one setting, they will NOT receive a score.
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test ( PSAT) is a great tool for students considering college.
The PSAT/NMSQT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills. Milton High School recommends that students take the PSAT/NMSQT in order to receive feedback about strengths and weaknesses, enter the competition for National Merit Scholar scholarships (11th graders) and prepare for the SAT.

CROSS COUNTRY
Eagles Race Well at Alexander/ASICS Invite
The Milton cross-country teams returned to the Alexander/ASICS Invitational for the first time in 2 years and came away with one team victory, a historic race and high team finishes in the most competitive meet the Eagles have run in this season.
VARSITY BOYS
The Eagles ran one of their best team races of the season in a very strong field of schools from both Florida & Georgia to earn a top-10 team finish. Milton (8th-304 pts) beat back 28 schools and finished as the 5th GA Class 7A squad. A historic run by senior co-captain Cory Chambers (15th-15:23) led the Eagles with Chambers now the 3rd fastest performer in school history. Chambers started with the lead pack and continued with them the entire race. Backing up the effort by Chambers were the all-time bests from sophomore Justin Sevel (63rd-16:11), junior Zach Patell (78th-16:20), junior Danny Murray (99th-16:31) seniors Pearson Gillam (104th-16:34), captain Oliver Stone (117th-16:39), Keller Wilson (149th-16:55), Jack Rea (150th-16:56) & Brandon Sevel (253rd-17:58).
VARSITY GIRLS
Milton (7th-254 pts) topped 21 scoring schools in their best team race of the season and had their best team average time. Every Lady Eagle ran to either a season personal best or all-time personal best! Milton surprised many schools with the return of senior captain Farrah Frith (41st-19:20) running her first race of the season since recovering from an injury sustained in June. Frith’s all-time best led a close group of Lady Eagle finishers to help lead Milton by many teams that had beaten the Lady Eagles earlier this season. Fellow senior Sydney Anderson (43rd-19:24) & junior Calista Cacciatore (61st-19:48) ran to all-time bests with junior Ella Grace Malcom (63rd-19:51) running a season’s best. Also scoring for Milton was junior Emerson Armistead (114th-20:44). Senior Emmaline Kelley (124th-20:53), sophomores Macy Schadt (167th-21:30) & Ivy Rindt (176th-21:38) & senior captain Gabby Beckman (211th-22:12) ran to either all-time or seasons bests.
JV BOYS
The Eagles took down 24 schools in winning the team race! Milton (1st-57 pts) knocked off strong programs from Westminster (2nd-74 pts) & Mill Creek (3rd-109 pts) on their way to the overall team title!
Running all-time personal bests & leading the Eagles to the team win were senior Andrew Ramsey (10th-17:36), junior Eric Rasmituth (13th-17:38), senior Ethan Hagel (15th-17:44), junior Jayson Faupel (16th-17:47), junior Chris Murray (18th-17:52) and juniors Martin Sand (23rd-17:59) & Luke Erbey (27th-18:04).
JV GIRLS
The Lady Eagles knocked-off 20 teams on their way to a top-5 finish. Milton (5th-150 pts) trailed Bolles (1st-22 pts), Westminster (2nd-94 pts), North Gwinnett (3rd-124 pts) & Brookwood (4th-139 pts). Sophomore Grace Lochman (16th-22:14) & junior Ashley Murray (17th-22:15) led the Lady Eagle scorers with senior Ella Butler (32nd-22:45) running a season’s best, freshman Hollis Thompson (39th-22:55) & Alyssa Monje (52nd-23:09) running all-time bests!

Residents of Fulton County are assigned to a school attendance zone based on their residential address. When new schools or additional classroom capacity are added in a region, or imbalances of enrollment and capacity exist, the Board may direct staff to review attendance boundaries for modifications. This process of revising attendance boundaries is called redistricting.
Each time a redistricting effort is under way, the school system holds three rounds of meetings to gather information needed to draft a redistricting proposal that best meets the community's needs. Unlike other school systems, Fulton uses a process that encourages public discussion before developing a proposal. This allows the community to have maximum input in how the proposed attendance lines are created.
There are TWO MORE meetings scheduled for North Fulton:
Round Two
October 3, 2022 (6:00 to 8:00 P.M.) at Alpharetta High School
Round Three
October 18, 2022 (6:00 to 8:00 P.M.) at Alpharetta High School
Final Recommendations; First Read - November 8
Final Action: December 15
