Cumulative or Last Test of the Semester (previously known as Finals)
An assessment will be administered in each course during the last two weeks of each semester with recovery opportunities on the last three half-days of the semester. Classes that do not have a cumulative test will still give a gradable experience during the last full weeks of classes in first and second semester. A gradable experience could include a unit test, a project, or presentation, as determined by the teachers of the course.
There will be NO cumulative exam or gradable experience exemptions, drops, or substitutions. All students will have an assessment in the last two weeks of each semester.
Schedule for Last Assessments, First Semester*:
Thursday, December 8: Gradable experiences in Elective Classes
Friday December 9: Gradable experiences in World Language Classes
Monday, December 12: Gradable experiences in English and Social Studies
Tuesday, December 13: Gradable experiences in Math and Science Classes
December 14 – 16: Recovery Days, these days are 8:20AM – 12:40PM
Wednesday, December 14: Periods 1, 2, 3
Thursday, December 15: Periods 4, 5, 6
Friday, December 16: Period 7 & teacher appointments

Dual Enrollment classes, GAVS, and/or FVS classes will have their own schedules and options for assessments, including final exams.
**Recovery Days are optional for students who do not need Recovery. Students who choose to miss Recovery during Recovery Days will not be given another opportunity to raise their final average.
INFORMATION REGARDING ATTENDANCE ON THE RECOVERY DAYS WILL BE EMAILED ON WEDNESDAY, 12/7!
