ROBOTICS AT WORLDS

Milton Robotics Team Soars at FIRST World Championships

This past week, the Robotic Eagles flew to Houston & competed in the FIRST FTC World Championships. Their robot competed against 192 teams from 50 countries. With a total of 60,000 people watching their matches, they won against Australia, Dominican Republic, and numerous US states teams. They ended the competition placing 40th in the entire world. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with world class teams and engage with FTC sponsors such as NASA, Rockwell Automation, PWC, and Raytheon Technologies.

Special thanks to Coach Whitehart, Mr. Yang, Ms. Hatfield, and Ms. Monette for making their trip possible. If you have any questions or want to join the team, please email [email protected]

INDOOR DRUMLINE AT WORLDS

Making it all the way to semifinals and placing in the top 20 across the country in Scholastic World class, is very impressive. We are so very proud of their hard work this season and performances locally, regionally, and nationally. Congratulations to all our Indoor members, director, staff, instructors and especially the 20 seniors.

Kudos to these fine scholarships for their commitment to academic excellence and representing Milton on the state stage. They really “Rep the M” to other enthusiasts of the Classics not only across Georgia, but across the entire nation. Their willingness to spend three days in the cabins at Rock Eagle is impressive. I cannot be complimentary enough of the audacity of their sagacity, or their volition to erudition.
