Greetings bocce friends~

As you know, Major League Bocce games are currently on hold due to the safe & effective social distancing measures in place across the U.S. We are happy to do our part to flatten the curve but that doesn't mean we don't miss our bocce nights!

Some of you had their winter season interrupted. Others are wondering about their spring registration. If you take away only 1 piece of information from this email, please let it be this: the games will be played. Keep reading for more information on our winter & spring programs and how we're planning to pick back up again once it's safe to do so.
WINTER SEASON
COVID-19 struck as most winter leagues were wrapping up. Once the social distancing measures are lifted, we'll return with 1 week of games in which all remaining playoff matches will be completed . This will allow us to crown division champions & finish the season right. Plus it will be a great way to ease back into the swing of things!

Once we have the ability to reschedule the games, we will email the team captains in the unfinished divisions asking them to confirm their participation in the playoffs. Due to venue availability, some of these matches may need to be moved to a nearby outdoor area to create more space.

All winter season city-wide tournaments will be combined with the spring season tournaments. So if you are a division winner from the winter season, you will be invited to compete for the championship cup at the end of the upcoming spring season!
SPRING SEASON
Based on the information we have available to us today, we are planning to start our spring leagues in either late-May or early-June. This time frame may change as the next few weeks unfold. But rest assured, your spring bocce fun will proceed and you will get all 6 regular season games plus playoffs in your season.

If you are not comfortable participating in the upcoming spring season or are no longer able to do so due to the delayed start date, we can deposit a credit into your account equal to the amount you paid. You can then use your credit on a future season of bocce once you're ready to play.

Unfortunately, we are not able to process refunds at this time. We are most grateful for your patience and flexibility, which enables us to sustain Major League Bocce. And we promise to deliver on the fun, bocce experience you expect from us! All spring season games will be played and you will get the full value of your registration fee.
