Last week we were in Baltimore, DC, etc. and the laptop died on Thursday. So I had to finalize last week's issue with a borrowed computer. As a result, a few things got missed. So we'll start this week off with interesting OLD NEWS:

Targeting Trump supporters! The saying "No good deed goes unpunished" is a comment on the perversity of human beings.

The Cajun Navy is a Louisiana-based informal organization of private recreation boat owners who assist in flood search-and-rescue efforts. Bob Price reports for Breitbart that there are three Cajun Navy groups doing rescue work in the Houston area, where thousands were stranded in flood waters from Hurricane Harvey.

Clyde Cain of Louisiana Cajun Navy told CNN that the rescuers are being shot at: "We have boats being shot at if we're not picking everybody up. We're having to pull out for a minute. We're dropping an airboat right now to go rescue a couple of our boats that broke, and they're kind of under attack."

To protect the volunteers, members of the Louisiana Cajun Navy were ordered to stand down. A message on the group's Facebook page said that the team members are safe after they were shot at by looters posing as people needing rescue during an attempt to rob and steal the Cajun Navy boat. The post has since been taken down, edited by Facebook as "hate speech."

Looters are not just shooting at Cajun Navy rescuers, they are boasting about their looting with the Twitter hashtag #harveylootcrew. Congratulating themselves for targeting white people("crackas") and Trump supporters. Their pictures leave no doubt as to their racial identity, but not a word about #harveylootcrew from the corrupt and deceiving Lamestream Media.

Dixie Heritage subscriber Russ Walker has told us that a South Carolina judge has dismissed his petition to return the Confederate Flag and pictures of Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee to the York County courthouse.

Russell Walker argued before Judge Jack Kimball that South Carolina state law requires the items stay up unless the legislature votes to remove them.

In June, Walker filed a lawsuit against York County Clerk of Court David Hamilton claiming that the S.C. Heritage Act allows only the legislature to move Confederate items in public buildings.

Hamilton's court attorney Michael Kendree argued the case should be dismissed for failing to file the complaint properly. He added injury or harm was not inflicted by the removal of the Flag and portraits and thus the plaintiff lacked standing.

The judge questioned Walker's motives for filing the lawsuit. Judge Kimball ruled that Walker's lawsuit has no standing because he lives in North Carolina, and that it has no merit because there's been no court case regarding the Heritage Act and whether it applies to buildings.

After the judge dismissed the case, Walker told Fox News he would request all the official documents, review them and possibly get a South Carolina resident to file a new lawsuit.

The United State Department of Justice has issued subpoenas to force a Christian pastor in Virginia to disclose under oath his views on Islam.

Pastor Steve Harrelson of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Boston, Virginia, has been served with a wide-ranging subpoena by lawyers for the DOJ's Civil Rights Division. The subpoena demands his presence to testify under oath in response to questions from Justice Department lawyers about his views on Islam as well as several other issues.

Pastor Harrelson is not a party to any lawsuit or other action brought by the Justice Department. He is a private citizen.

The Justice Department subpoena also demands that the pastor bring any papers or documents that he has to his deposition with government lawyers that relate to or mention Islam and turn them over to the government.

In addition to Harrelson, other Christian third-party private citizens have also been subpoenaed to reveal under oath their views on Islam and to deliver any documents they possess related to Islam to federal attorneys.

The statue of a confederate soldier has stood in front of the Oxford, Mississippi Court House for 100 years. Now, nearly 200 people showed up Tuesday night at the Lafayette County Supervisors meeting. A Facebook live video of the meeting shows a packed courtroom. In the video, you hear Board President Jeff Busby saying, "This is a discussion. No decision will be made on the subject tonight."

A government panel in Shreveport, Louisiana voted 4-4 on Tuesday to recommend removing a Confederate monument from the grounds of Caddo Courthouse. The full 12-member Caddo Parish Commission gets the recommendation later this month and a public hearing will be held on Oct. 5.

The panel was stacked with Southerners, including a former CIC of the SCV. So if that panel couldn't recommend keeping a statue the whole "Southern Heritage" movement in Louisiana is in serious peril.

A very slim majority of New York City voters said they think Confederate statues and monuments should stay up around the country, according to a Siena College Poll released Tuesday.

The Siena poll found 52 percent of New York City voters believe Confederate monuments should be left alone, while 41 percent said they should be removed and 7 percent were undecided.

The poll was conducted from Aug. 26 through Aug. 30, days after some people also started calling for the removal of other monument, such as the Christopher Columbus statue at Columbus Circle. Siena's poll takers contacted registered voters by cell phone and landlines throughout the State, including many people in New York City.

In August, Mayor de Blasio ordered a 90-day review of the city's own monuments and statues in response to violent protests in Virginia surrounding the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue.

It also came after Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered statues of Lee and Stonewall Jackson - another Confederate general - be removed from the Hall of Fame for Great Americans at Bronx Community College.

A spokesman for the mayor said the city will consider "monument alteration," which is an option instead of removing or keeping statues.

They haven't publicly announced yet who will be on the commission to decide what to do with controversial statues, street signs and monuments - but mayoral spokesman Eric Phillips said it "will be a cross section of germane policy experts and leaders from community, civic and art organizations."

The Siena Poll asked New Yorkers' opinions on several other topics, including views about the president. It found President Donald Trump's ratings in New York state are the lowest they've been since he was sworn in as president - with 85 percent giving him an 'F' grade, data shows.

At Epsom Central School, a mural map of the United States features a small Confederate Flag planted on the southeastern states.

Tuesday night, the Epsom School Board voted 3-2 to defeat a motion to remove or alter the mural to remove that flag.

Activists Erect, Then Tear Down Statue Of Jeff Sessions As A Confederate Soldier

Protesters march with a mock statue of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on September 6 as they head to the DOJ to demonstrate against the Trump's decision to end DACA.

Activists erected and tore down a Confederate-themed statue of Attorney General Jeff Sessions in downtown D.C. on Wednesday in protest of the Trump administration's repeal of the DACA program.

Afterward, protestors preserve the statue's head with a plastic bag and told The Washington Post it will remain in D.C. "It doesn't have a scheduled agenda yet...But I imagine there will be more protests."

Students at a central Indiana high school were banned from wearing or displaying the Confederate Flag on Friday after about two dozen students at Lapel High School, in Madison County, wore Flag themed clothes for two consecutive days. The students also decorated their vehicles with the Flag and drove to school in a caravan. In response, another group of students reportedly planned to wear Black Lives Matter shirts, but were also stopped from doing so by the school.

Bobby Fields, superintendent of the school district, said in a statement that the emblems were banned to prevent disruptions to "the integrity and sanctity of the teaching and learning process." No students have been disciplined in the matter.

Students who took part in the display said it's part of an annual historical commemoration of the Second Battle of Bull Run, RTV6 reported.

The United States Supreme Court has asked Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant's attorneys to file arguments by Sept. 28 in defense of the Confederate battle symbol on Mississippi's State Flag, according to the Associated Press.

Lower courts have thus far ruled against Carlos Moore, the Mississippi attorney who filed suit over the flag in 2016. Moore argued the flag caused him physical and emotional injuries because its message was "painful, threatening, and offensive" and made him "feel like a second-class citizen," as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals noted in its ruling against Moore.

Michael Scott, one of Moore's attorneys, told the AP the Supreme Court's request for arguments from Bryant bodes well for the Confederate symbol controversy's chances of ending up at the high court. "While this does not mean that the Supreme Court will take the case, it shows that they are giving serious consideration to the petition," Scott told the AP.

With its 10 Oscars, including the first one for a black actress (Hattie McDaniel), "Gone With the Wind," is a cinematic masterpiece. A classic. But now Hollywood and academia are joining forces to condemn it as racist. Theater officials have announced that the film will no longer be part of the Summer Classics series shown annually.

Just last week I was at The Washington National Cathedral and was given no indication that this was coming. Cathedral Dean Randy Hollerith, Cathedral Chapter Chair John Donoghue and Bishop Marianne Edgar Budde of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, announced that the Cathedral Chapter voted to immediately remove the windows on Tuesday saying the displays "do not reflect our values."

"These windows are not only inconsistent with our current mission to serve as a house of prayer for all people, but also a barrier to our important work on racial justice and racial reconciliation," the Wednesday letter said. "Their association with racial oppression, human subjugation and white supremacy does not belong in the sacred fabric of this Cathedral."

The depictions of Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, installed in 1953, will be removed as soon as possible.

Texas is still underwater from Hurricane Harvey. Yet the Dallas City Council has time to vote 13-1 on Wednesday to remove Confederate statues and rename the City's Lee Park.

And here in Florida, resources that should be put in place to prepare for the impending impact of Hurricane Irma are instead being used to take down Confederate monuments in Tampa.

President Donald Trump has directed the U.S. Armed Forces to "return to the longstanding policy" of precluding transgender individuals from military service.

In an Aug. 25 memorandum to the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security, who oversees the Coast Guard, Trump directed the military to bar transgender individuals from entering the service. By March 23, 2018, the Armed Forces also must "halt all use" of government funds to pay for gender reassignment surgery for military personnel, Trump stated, "except to the extent necessary to protect the health of an individual who has already begun a course of treatment to reassign his or her sex."

Additionally, Trump ordered Defense Secretary James Mattis to submit by Feb. 21 a plan "to address transgender individuals currently serving in the United States military." That plan will be implemented by March 23.

In his memo, Trump criticized the Obama administration for its 2016 decision to lift a previous ban on transgender service members.

"In my judgment," Trump wrote, "the previous Administration failed to identify a sufficient basis to conclude that terminating the Departments' longstanding policy and practice would not hinder military effectiveness and lethality, disrupt unit cohesion or tax military resources, and there remain meaningful concerns that further study is needed to ensure that continued implementation of last year's policy change would not have those negative effects."

A ban on transgender troops will remain in place, Trump stated, "until such time as sufficient basis exists upon which to conclude that terminating that policy and practice would not have" negative effects on the military.

The President left open the possibility of permitting transgender military service in the future if the Secretary of Defense "provides a recommendation ... that I find convincing."

He might be out of the White House, but Americans are not yet done paying Obama's bills.

In 2018, Obama will cost taxpayers $1,153,000, according to a Congressional Research Service memo first obtained by The Washington Times.

The total - which is more than $100,000 higher than former President George W. Bush's request and almost $200,000 more than former President Bill Clinton's - is the highest of the five living ex-presidents.

Former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter are slated to receive $942,000 and $456,000, respectively.

The money is coming from the Former Presidents Act, which became law in 1958 and provides former commanders in chief with lifetime benefits after they step out from behind the Resolute Desk.

While each president receives an annual pension of at least $205,700, they are also able to request money from Congress for staff salaries, an office allowance, travel monies, and Secret Service protection.

Obama's Washington, D.C., office is the most expensive, according to the Times. The space will reportedly cost taxpayers a whopping $536,000 in 2018. By comparison, George H.W. Bush's Houston office space - $286,000 - and Carter's Atlanta office space - $115,000.

Spending lots of money is nothing new for any president. However, Obama certainly drew the ire of many conservatives over his eight years in the White House for what many saw as frivolous spending.

In fact, over his tenure in the West Wing, the Obamas spent more than $85 million - that's more than $10 million a year - on vacations alone according to numbers revealed by Judicial Watch in 2016.

Now its not just monuments to Confederate generals, and "racist" Americans that are under attack. Now, Richard Dean, president of the historical society in Columbus, New Mexico wants to see the name of a State Park changed to anything other than Pancho Villa.

Mexicans on either side of the border revere Villa as a Robin Hood-like figure. To pop culture he is a icon and and to the Mexican government a hero, which may explain why his image has avoided controversy.

New Mexico opened Pancho Villa Park in Columbus in 1965 on the grounds of the former Army Camp Furlong.

Also in the sites of the rabid is a Pancho Villa statue in downtown park in Tuscon, Arizona. (Fox News) The statue is a 14-foot-tall, five-ton bronze statue of Villa riding a horse and brandishing a pistol.

A representative from City Hall in Tucson has commented that "The deaccession of any piece of city art must go through a process as outlined in city Administrative Directive 7.01-7, and that process has not currently been initiated for the Pancho Villa statue."

JP Morgan Chase plans to donate $1 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center and its hate list.

Tampa -  In response to comments published by several individuals and groups, Save Southern Heritage - Florida ("SSH FL") has launched a libel and defamation lawsuit that was filed today (8/31/17) in Hillsborough Circuit Court.
The lawsuit names defendants as Leatrice Ione Townsend, Chairwoman of the Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee; the Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee; Organize Florida and Timothy Herberlein, Director of Political Operations for Organize Florida.
SSH FL specifically names several libelous and defamatory published remarks by the individuals and groups named in the lawsuit.
"The Democratic and Organize Florida groups deliberately and intentionally printed untrue information about our organization and they will be held accountable," stated attorney Justin Waters, representing SSH FL.
"To print comments alleging our organization and it's leadership to be 'white supremacists' and to advocating 'violently threatening and intimidating members of the public,' is totally unacceptable, especially in this day and time.
The lawsuit goes on to list several messages that included untrue and unfounded accusation of 'felonious acts' and that SSH FL spokespersons 'promotes racism and violence,' Waters stated.
SSH FL asserts that all comments made are false, untrue and a create a potentially violent atmosphere where radical elements may try to create violent situation against SSH FL and it's leaders.

SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a 501 c(4) public welfare corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History.  It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and Erase-ism levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina's historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected.

SSH FL does not condone racism and as such we do not support any group or person that does. We respect the rights and privileges of all as bestowed on them by their creator and expect those in our association to respect and treat others as they themselves would wish to be treated.
The Florida branch was activated in mid-January 2016, in response to three initiatives in the Florida Legislature that are part of a hate campaign led by Anti-American extremists, who refuse to respect the various cultures that make up the fabric of Florida society.  Since that time, it has grown in membership and has been active in Heritage battles throughout Florida including the We'll Remember in November Campaign that resulted in #heritagehater candidates to loose elections in Florida.

One of our readers, James King, submitted two eMails this week in which he reminds us that:

This is an interesting "Farewell to England" list of Islamic accomplishments in that country that I thought might give you a better understanding of the insidiousness of Hijrah; that's the takeover of a nation without going to war.

Don't think for a moment that America is not a target or that there are no American cities where Islamic and Sharia victories and takeovers have not already occurred.

It's time for border control or start planning for a very big goodbye America party!

Here's what has already happened to England within a few years of opening their borders without entry control:

How the British have passively succumbed to the Muslim invasion:
     Mayor of London ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Birmingham ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Leeds ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Blackburn ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Sheffield ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Oxford ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Luton ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Oldham ... MUSLIM
     Mayor of Rochdale ... MUSLIM

All the following achieved by just 4 million Muslims out of the 66 million population:
     Over 3,000 Muslim Mosques
     Over 130 Muslim Sharia Courts
     Over 50 Muslim Sharia Councils

Muslims Only No-Go Areas Across The UK
Muslim Women... 78% don't work and are on FREE benefits/housing
Muslim Men... 63% don't work and are on FREE benefits/housing
Muslim Families... 6-8 children planning to go on FREE benefits/housing and now all UK schools are ONLY serving HALAL MEAT!
..... and we (the USA) can't decide on an immigration policy???

We have been informed that another of our readers, Angela Dawn Wilson, born February 4, 1985 - crossed over the river early on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at her home following a courageous fight against cancer.

Funeral services celebrating her life were held at 2 PM, Thursday, August 24, at South Main Church in Weatherford, Texas. She was buried at East Greenwood Cemetery. The picture below was taken during her funeral procession.

Angie was breathtakingly beautiful, she was very strong and full of life, and she now rests in the shade of the trees awaiting the return of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Rest In Peace Angela Wilson, your battles are now over.

Our prayers are offered up for her family during this difficult time.  There are no words to say how terribly sorry we are all for your loss.  May the grace of God cover  you through this time of grief.

Dear Tulsa School Board,

The consideration of changing the name of Lee Elementary School is the latest in the long list of  attacks on all things Southern and Confederate, and is nothing less than cultural genocide.  If the  truth about the War of Northern Aggression were taught in our schools, this issue would not even  be coming up.

Most do not know the truth of our history. It is taught that the war was about slavery  and freeing the slaves.  It was not. IF it was about slavery, why did Lincoln not free the more than  420,000 slaves still in the union AFTER the South seceded?

The war would never have taken place  had Lincoln not illegally invaded the South.  He stated in his inaugural address that the collection  of revenues would continue "by force if necessary" from the seceded states. The South was paying  over 85% of the federal revenues but only had 1/3 of the population. The proposed Corwin Amendment  and the Crittenden-Johnson Resolution both prove the war was not about slavery, however, Lincoln  did make it about slavery halfway through the war with his Emancipation Proclamation as the war was  going badly for the North.  It was a war measure and freed not one solitary slave.

The blame for slavery  is always laid at the feet of the South, but it was the Yankee slave traders who built the ships and ran  the slave trade, selling their cargo to both North and South, and flying Old Glory on their ships.  Not one  slave ship ever flew a Confederate flag.

There were free blacks in the South who owned slaves. Did you  know that?

None of the truth is taught about the war or the causes of it; money, power, and greed.

We cannot continue to allow this cultural genocide in the removal of our statues and the changing of street  and school names. It is beyond absurd. If this were happening to any other group of people the media and  the government would not permit it, but since it is waged against Southerners and their history, it is condoned.

Attached is a document that wipes away the myths taught by our rewritten history. Yes, our history was  rewritten during Reconstruction, but the truth is not difficult to uncover.

I hope that you will not change the n ame of Lee Elementary School.  It was named after a brave, gallant, Christian man who was defending his
homeland from an army of illegal invaders.  Lee freed the slaves he inherited.  By contrast, General Grant  kept his slaves until after the 13th Amendment was passed which actually freed the slaves.

Liberals in a TIZZY
by Walter E. Williams

Walter E. Williams is a professor of economics at George Mason University.

Many blacks and their white liberal allies demand the removal of statues of Confederate generals and the Confederate battle flag, and they are working up steam to destroy the images of Gens. Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee and President Jefferson Davis from Stone Mountain in Georgia. Allow me to speculate as to the whys of this statue removal craze, which we might call statucide.

To understand it, we need a review of the promises black and white liberals have been making for decades. In 1940, the black poverty rate was 87 percent. By 1960, it had fallen to 47 percent. During that interval, blacks were politically impotent. There were no anti-poverty programs or affirmative action programs. Nonetheless, this poverty reduction exceeded that in any other 20-year interval. But the black leadership argued that more was necessary. They said that broad advancement could not be made unless blacks gained political power.

Fifty years ago, there were fewer than 1,000 black elected officials nationwide. According to the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, by 2011 there were roughly 10,500 black elected officials, not to mention a black president. But what were the fruits of greater political power? The greatest black poverty, poorest education, highest crime rates and greatest family instability are in cities such as Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Baltimore, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Buffalo. The most common characteristic of these predominantly black cities is that for decades, all of them have been run by Democratic and presumably liberal politicians. Plus, in most cases, blacks have been mayors, chiefs of police, school superintendents and principals and have dominated city councils.

During the 1960s, black and white liberals called for more money to be spent on anti-poverty programs. Since the Lyndon Johnson administration's War on Poverty programs, U.S. taxpayers have forked over $22 trillion for anti-poverty programs. Adjusted for inflation, that's three times the cost of all U.S. military wars since the American Revolution. Despite that spending, the socio-economic condition for many blacks has worsened. In 1940, 86 percent of black children were born inside marriage, and the black illegitimacy rate was about 15 percent. Today, only 35 percent of black children are born inside marriage, and the illegitimacy rate hovers around 75 percent.

The visions of black civil rights leaders and their white liberal allies didn't quite pan out. Greater political power and massive anti-poverty spending produced little. The failure of political power and the failure of massive welfare spending to produce nirvana led to the expectation that if only there were a black president, everything would become better for blacks. I cannot think of a single black socio-economic statistic that improved during the two terms of the Barack Obama administration. Some have become tragically worse, such as the black homicide victimization rate. For example, on average in Chicago, one person is shot every two hours, 15 minutes, and a person is murdered every 12 1/2 hours.

So more political power hasn't worked. Massive poverty spending hasn't worked. Electing a black president hasn't worked. What should black leaders and their white liberal allies now turn their attention to in order to improve the socio-economic condition for blacks? It appears to be nearly unanimous that attention should be turned to the removal of Confederate statues. It's not only Confederate statue removal but Confederate names of schools and streets. Even the Council on American-Islamic Relations agrees. It just passed a resolution calling for the removal of all Confederate memorials, flags, street names and symbols from public spaces and property.

By the way, does the statue of Union Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman qualify for removal? He once explained his reluctance to enlist former slaves, writing, "I am honest in my belief that it is not fair to our men to count negroes as equals ... (but) is not a negro as good as a white man to stop a bullet?" It's difficult to determine where this purging of the nation's history should end.

Click this link to read a bill that is hiding in the Capitol offices right now, looking for sponsors.

Click the link above to read the proposed bill. So far the bill has not been introduced for lack of sponsors.

Of course we encouraged all members of Congress NOT to sign onto this. Believe it or not, everyone is afraid to be among the "first." If someone gets past that initial fear, it is possible others will eventually sign on. We will keep monitoring this one.

What we could NOT prevent last week was a bill that was introduced by TWO Democrats. We do however want to believe that at least, in some small part due to our efforts, the bill only has TWO sponsors instead of two dozen would have been potential co-sponsors.

Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.) and Rep. Barbara Lee (Calif.) introduced Senate and House versions of the Confederate Monument Removal Act, which would mandate the removal of all statues of those who voluntarily served the Confederate States of America from the National Statuary Hall Collection within 120 days.

The reality is that we need a FULL-TIME Southern Heritage lobby in Washington. I would have to quit my job and move in order to do so. That said, if the funding were in place I would. We also have a few others who could be employed as full-time lobbyists on our behalf. But it would take about $80,000 per lobbyist MINIMUM to make that happen.

Mark my words, the enemies of our heritage have hundreds of full-time lobbyists in our nation's and State's capitols. And they are talking to our elected officials and government agencies DAILY.

We will continue making the rounds nationally and locally as we are able. With your help, we can and will do more.
