RRP was featured on a Roots of the Spirit Podcast episode , which is hosted and produced by Spirit Tawfiq, daughter of civil rights activist Minnijean Brown Trickey. The podcast episode covers a variety of issues related to social activism and civic engagement through the lens of social justice, all to achieve the goal of creating an accessible social justice and ethnic studies curriculum. The campaign also provides written resources about Black Lives Matter, Dispelling Misinformation, educating children on racism, and other related topics.
ALZA is proud to work alongside Julia and applauds her leadership in this noteworthy endeavor to educate individuals on some of the world’s most important subjects, one piece of accurate information at a time.
