The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) Extends Nationwide Search
for Next President / CEO

WASHINGTON, DC (November 12, 2019)  The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) is currently seeking a President / CEO to build on AMAC’s strong foundation, and drive a new era of transformation and growth to become a new voice for women and minorities across the U.S. in airports of the future. The Board of Directors has extended the application deadline from Saturday, November 9, 2019 to Friday, November 15, 2019. 

AMAC is the only national, non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the full participation of minorities and women in employment and contracting opportunities throughout the aviation and aerospace industries. The Board of Directors seeks a dynamic, analytical leader with a passion to create meaningful change and representation of minorities and women in the rapidly changing Aviation and Aerospace Industries. As technology, infrastructure, concessions and changes in workforce present opportunities, the leader is expected to add value across all dimensions of the industry through increasing membership, diversifying services and revenue, and continuing to improve upon and grow the existing assets, and investing in the AMAC team. 

Executives with diverse experience in Association Leadership, federal and local advocacy, finance, strategic planning, fundraising, and program planning and development efforts will be inspired by the opportunity to take AMAC to the next level of success. The role requires an experienced executive whose familiarity with the aviation industry and its associated business diversity programs is such that he or she is able to plan, organize, implement and direct activities of the association around these initiatives.
