Hey everyone! Dr. Nover here. Happy Friday!  

Please carefully review your family information on Infinite Campus and ensure that all emergency contact information is up to date. 

Carefully review the mid-term week schedule and reach out with questions. We have provided updates to include bus information and meal information for the week. 

On January 23rd at 5:00 PM we are hosting a family reading night. Bring your family, lawn chairs and blankets to read as a family in our gym. Then, share a meal together. This event is free, but will include a bake sale to raise money for our student council. Please see the attached flier for more information! And the PTA will also be sending information for families to volunteer to support. We are definitely looking for folks to donate food that we can share as a community.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Stay warm! And I look forward to seeing all of our student leaders on Monday.

Por favor, revise cuidadosamente la información de su familia en Infinite Campus y asegúrese de que toda la información de contacto de emergencia está al día. 

Revise cuidadosamente el horario de mitad de semana y póngase en contacto con preguntas. Hemos proporcionado actualizaciones para incluir la información del autobús y la información de la comida para la semana. 

El 23 de enero a las 5:00 PM tendremos una noche de lectura familiar. Traiga a su familia, sillas de jardín y mantas para leer en familia en nuestro gimnasio. Luego, compartan una comida juntos. Este evento es gratis, pero incluirá una venta de pasteles para recaudar dinero para nuestro consejo estudiantil. ¡Por favor, vea el volante adjunto para más información! Y el PTA también estará enviando información para que las familias se ofrezcan como voluntarios para apoyar. Definitivamente estamos buscando gente que done comida que podamos compartir como comunidad.

Espero que todos tengan un fin de semana maravilloso. ¡Manténganse calientes! Y espero ver a todos nuestros líderes estudiantiles el lunes.

• 1/15/2025 - AMD Band Concert, 7 pm
• 1/20/25 - Schools Closed/Escuelas cerradas - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day
• 1/21/25 - FLACS Midterm Exam: The ONLY students who come to school are as follows:
• 6th Grade Dual Language
• 8th Grade World Language
• Breakfast Served /No Lunch
• 1/22/25 - Earth Science Midterm
• All 8th-grade students attend school at the regular time and are dismissed at 10:39
• Breakfast for 8th Graders / No Lunch 
• All 6th and 7th-grade students arrive on a 3-hour delay - 11:04 AM. Buses will run on a 3-hour delay
• No Breakfast for 6th and 7th/Lunch Available
• 1/23/25 - New York State Simulation Test - All students attend all-day
• 1/23/25 - STAR Fall Session Ends
• 1/24/25 - Algebra Mid-term - 8th-grade algebra students test at OHS
• All students come to school
• 8th grade algebra students ride an 8:05 AM bus from AMD
• Buses Return to AMD at 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM
• 1/24/25 - 2nd Quarter Marking Period Ends
