Hey everyone! Dr. Nover here! Happy Friday!
On Thursday our teachers had a wonderful day of learning. For the first time in forever, insert singing and dancing!, our high school and middle school teams engaged in a collaboratively planned day of learning at our OHS campus. Our counselors and I were hard at work with a scheduling consultant to support the overall development of our building schedule. Exciting things are happening at AMD and OHS!
Progress reports are now available on the Infinite Campus Portal. Over the course of the next few weeks, your student’s teachers will be reaching out if they are concerned about them passing for the quarter or the year. After Quarter 3 grades are submitted and report cards released on April 25th, we will make determinations about which students are required to attend our summer intervention academy. Any student who is failing a course for the year will be required to attend summer intervention classes to ensure their readiness for the following grade.
8th grade families, please see below! Encourage your child to apply to be a part of the moving up festivities!
On March 21st we will honor World Down Syndrome Day by rocking our socks. Throughout next week we will teach students why we recognize this day on March 21st. Encourage your child to wear fun socks on March 21st!
We will conduct an unannounced lockdown drill next week.
Thank you all for your continued support of our school community!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
