This Interview features Thomas Karig. Mr. Karig is a speaker and consultant on Mexican automotive industry issues, USMCA rules, and Governance, Risk and Compliance system implementation. He teaches Governance at the IESDE School of Management in Puebla, Mexico. Until recently, he worked for Volkswagen de Mexico in several management positions for 37 years. Most recently, as VP of Corporate Relations and the Compliance Officer. Karig was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry for 20 years. He also sat on the Board of Directors of the Mexican-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

This Interview features Bill Hanvey. Mr. Hanvey is president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, which represents the entire supply chain of the independent automotive aftermarket. Before becoming president and CEO on Dec. 1, 2015, Hanvey served as senior vice president of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) since 2012. At AASA, he advocated for North American parts manufacturers to the auto care industry, federal and state government agencies and the business community. Hanvey has spent his entire 35-plus-year career in the aftermarket.
