The AMLJIA provides an all-in-one labor law poster to help you maintain compliance with federal and state posting requirements. We are committed to keeping you up to date with any changes as they occur from year to year.
Effective January 1, 2020, the state minimum wage increased to $10.19 per hour. Because this is the only update, the AMLJIA will not be printing new labor law posters for 2020. Instead, we are asking that you make the required update to your existing poster to make it compliant. This will allow the AMLJIA to reduce printing and postage costs, saving money for the membership.
The update can be made very simply by writing in the new state wage information. In the upper right corner of your poster, under the heading "Summary of Alaska Wage and Hour Act," change the first sentence to read as follows:
"Effective January 1, 2020, the Alaska minimum wage shall be $10.19 per hour."
