Lieutenant Colonel Robert M. Atkins has 19 years of space system experience with all Air Force Space Command mission areas. He is responsible for the procurement, acquisition, and integration of the Atlas V, Delta IV, and Falcon 9 launch vehicles and regularly meets with manufacturing suppliers across the region.

UAV Manufacturing Roundtable

AMP SoCal, in partnership with the Tesla Foundation, is hosting an interactive event focusing on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) manufacturing. Information about available industry resources will be discussed, and we request that company representatives share existing R&D and workforce development needs in order to assist us in creating programs/services to meet the demand. For those unable to attend the event in person, there is a webinar option available.

WANTED: Aerospace - Industry Companies ready to get on the Launch Pad with Aero-Flex Pre-Apprenticeship in Engineering
Initially funded through AMP SoCal and California’s Workforce Accelerator Fund, the Aero-Flex program has expanded from the South Bay area to all of Los Angeles County. The project is looking to engage multiple size companies in a discussion of your current and anticipated workforce needs as they relate to engineering.
