AMS AVONDALE TIGER TIMES
A letter from the Principal
Happy March AMS Avondale Tiger Families!

As we are nearing the end of the 3rd quarter, we would like to express we are very excited to have students back on campus. We had not in-person learning since December 2020. We would like to take this time to share some reminders to continue with having a successful school for your families:

·        Returning families please have your driveline number available for dismissal. If you have lost your driveline number, please contact the school to get a replacement. Beginning, March 8th we will not be calling names during driveline. Parents will have to park and go to the front office to get a driveline number.

·        New families if you have not received driveline numbers, please contact the school to receive your child’s driveline numbers.

·        All students are to where school uniforms. Please refer to the dress code policy for specifics. In addition, students are allowed to wear hoodies, but the hood are not to be worn over the head.

·        Have your child ready with backpack on during arrival.

Spring Break is March 17th-19th. We do have school on March 15th-16th. We hope all families are able to relax and enjoy the wonderful Arizona weather.
Lastly, we will begin our AZM2 state testing for grades 3-8 in April. Please make sure that your child eats a nutritious breakfast and gets to school on time and stays all day. We want them to have the most amount of time to be successful on the test.
As always, we appreciate your continued support in making our school a success.
Warm Regards,
Mr. Christopher Lalley
