LESSON PLAN REMINDERS

  • Lesson plans are in your lesson plan folder on SharePoint. The expectation is that we should now be two weeks ahead when submitting plans.
  • Work with APs on plan A, B, or C.
  • Lesson plan format is Week-GradeLastName-Subject; i.e. 06-2Conlin-Math, etc.
  • All plans should have an exit ticket and indicate exemplar

  • Remember to have your objectives posted on your board.
  • Make sure they align to whatever is on the lesson plan that day.
  • Students should be doing what is listed.

  • Remember while working as a team, include YOUR NAME on plans
  • Each teacher MUST have each subject, each week
  • Include ELP standards. IEP/504/SPED accommodations.

  • ClassDojo: Please be sure to invite your evaluating administrator to your page. Every teacher should have a Dojo page.
  • CharacterStrong: Counseling will refer to this form.
  • Please make sure every student has a transportation/dismissal tag. There are still students coming to Driveline and walker gate with no identification.
  • Paycom site here. Be sure all tasks/trainings are completed.
  • Attendance Policy here. Please be sure to input leave into Paycom within 24 hours of your absence.

IT TICKETING SYSTEM

Please follow network procedures for addressing IT issues by emailing helpdesk@amsschools.org or going to the SharePoint link https://amsschools.freshservice.com/support/tickets/new.

Not having an orderly fashion for submitted issues causes drops of quality in service, makes an unfair situation for teachers who used the system properly, and gives the technician a confusing environment to work in. I also understand that there are urgent situations when IT support can pause their current task and address hot items immediately. Here are a couple bullets that would fit this situation.

  • Campus wide internet outage
  • Ransomware attack/Cybersecurity Incident
  • Helping with technical issues during an important event (for example, the technician trying to fix a microphone during an awards ceremony)

Most other issues can be addressed through our ticketing system, giving Elizabeth a sustainable working environment and gives educators a consistent experience with tech support. Also, this enables AIG to monitor metrics and provide accurate training for the technician.

Updates - Mr. Hodges

Happy Monday –

  • As we get ready to support/celebrate with our community next month on March 9th, I wanted to let you know how excited I am to be part of “Team-Camelback”.

Our school is filled with people who have different beliefs, religious, traditions, and ways of living.  It is within our differences that we find Greatness!

Both in our educational and operational environments at AMS-Camelback, cultural diversity benefits everyone!  It paves the way to better problem-solving, more empathy with compassion, and deepened learning.  So, if you have or know of something that we possibly should be recognizing please bring it to my attention.

Earn extra “MONEY” by referring new students to AMS-Camelback – see me for details!
