Hello, Firebirds. The big takeaway this week is lesson plans.

IMPORTANT—this upcoming week, network will be on campus doing some instructional rounds in your classrooms.

We should see:

That this week's lesson plans are in your lesson plan folder on SharePoint. The expectation is that it should be uploaded before the week begins. Please make sure this is done!
Be sure to use this format. All plans should follow this format, focusing on those highlighted areas.
Lesson plan format is Week-GradeLastName-Subject; i.e. 06-2Conlin-Math, etc.

For the week:

Remember to have your objectives posted on your board.
Make sure they align to whatever is on the lesson plan that day.
Students should be doing what is listed.

Reminders moving forward:

Remember while working as a team, include YOUR NAME on plans
Each teacher MUST have each subject, each week
Include ELP standards, IEP/504/SPED accommodations

KINDERGARTEN - 5th GRADE TEACHERS & INTERVENTIONISTS MUST SIGN UP FOR:

Learning A-Z is providing trainings for our teachers and interventionists. These online platforms are amazing foundational resources that align well with our frameworks and core program. Once the sessions are full, participants will receive a calendar invite and link to the virtual training. The form opens with a brief description of each session topic and then lists the days and times to select from. Each session has limited capacity and is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so teachers should sign up at their earliest convenience.

CharacterStrong : Counseling will refer to this form. This is mandatory for all teachers, as the counseling department is required to observe SEL lessons.
Please make sure every student has a transportation/dismissal tag. There are still students coming to Driveline and walker gate with no identification.
