Sustainable Mentorship Applications Due 30 May
The Sustainable Mentorship Program (SMP) is calling for applications for 2024–2025. The SMP provides robust, year-long mentoring to individuals with graduate training in musicology or a related field. Eileen Southern Travel Grant Applications
Due 31 May
The Society's Eileen Southern Travel Fund (ESTF) provides travel grants to the AMS annual meeting as well as cohort and networking activities for minority undergraduates and terminal master's candidates interested in exploring careers in musicology. In addition, the ESTF program provides ongoing mentorship opportunities to help Eileen Southern Scholars to apply to graduate school or otherwise advance their careers. Applications due 31 May 2024, 11:59pm ET.

Organizations and affiliates interested in holding pre-conference events as part of the 2024 AMS Annual Meeting in Chicago may now submit a reservation request. Pre-conference event space is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, as space allows.

Many Musics of America:
From Veracruz to Virginia
From Veracruz to Virginia will be held in Floyd, Virginia at the Floyd Country Store and live-streamed on Wednesday, 10 April 2024 at 7:00pm ET. Part of the Many Musics of America Series, it will feature Sophia Enríquez, Estela Díaz Knott, and Fredi Naranjos Vega and explore how Mexican music has taken root in Appalachia.

Jackson Award, Kinkeldey Award, Lockwood Award, Music in American Culture Award, Slim Award, Solie Award, Stevenson Award, AMS Teaching Award, Tsou Critical Race Studies Award and the Brett Award.
