The AMS is calling for applications for the Paul A. Pisk Prize. The Paul A. Pisk Prize is awarded annually to a graduate student who presents an outstanding scholarly paper at the AMS Annual Meeting. Apply by 1 December 2024, 11:59pm ET.

Early Music Program Fund


The Early Music Program Fund supports programming for researchers studying music in the period before ca. 1600. AMS chapters, study groups, and committees are eligible. Apply by 19 January 2024, 11:59pm ET.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Lecture: Apply by 15 January


The AMS is calling for proposals for joint lectures with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It is a great opportunity to increase exposure for your work. Lecture proposals should be based on original research and aimed at a wider public. Apply by 15 January 2025, 11:59pm ET.

Roland Jackson Memorial Grant in American Music
