Kennedy Creek Old Time

Music Workshops

Organized by the South-Central Chapter, the Kennedy Creek Old Time Music Workshops will feature Mick Kinney and Evan Kinney (aka The Griddle Lickers) demonstrating tunes from field recordings, manuscripts, and primary sources. The workshops will take place at the Kennedy Creek Old Time Music Festival on 1 October.

Seminole Legends

and Songs

The first Many Musics event, "Seminole Legends and Songs," was held in Tallahassee, FL on 1 September. Brian Zepeda of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, presented traditional stories and artwork. Images and video of the event are now available on the Many Musics website.

Rhiannon Giddens Performance and Q&A

Rhiannon Giddens — North Carolinian folk musician, MacArthur "Genius" Grant Recipient and Grammy-award winner will do a special concert and Q&A at Davidson College in February 2023 as part of the Many Musics of America series.
