2022 Joint Annual Meeting Paper and Performance Proposals due 15 February

Submit your paper and performance proposals for the 2022 AMS-SEM-SMT Joint Annual Meeting by 15 February! The AMS invites a range of proposal types for the meeting, which will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel, 10-13 November 2022. SEM TRAVEL AWARDS

The Society for Ethno-musicology (SEM) is offering several travel awards for the 2022 Annual Meeting. The deadline to apply is 15 July 2022.

SMT STUDENT PRESENTATION AWARD

The Society for Music Theory (SMT) annually gives the Student Presentation Award to a music student for a scholarly presentation at the Annual Meeting.

SMT SUBVENTIONS

The SMT Annual Meeting Grants Subcommittee considers special funding requests from standing committees, interest groups, and individual SMT members.

PEER LEARNING PROGRAM

SMT Peer Learning Program workshops are three-hour seminars led by prominent scholars intended to encourage "thinking together."

GRADUATE STUDENT WORKSHOP PROGRAM

The SMT Graduate Student Workshop Program emphasizes instruction, participation, and discussion among graduate students.

SMT TRAVEL GRANTS
