Illinois Legislation: Updates and Changes
Over the past year, the government relations committee has striven to keep you abreast of legislation that has been coming down the pipeline. At our annual conference in March, we highlighted one law in particular dealing with the Human Trafficking Resource Center Notice Act. The law has been amended by the state legislature to include massage establishments, effective January 1, 2019.

You can find the summery of the new legislation, as well as links to visit the full text, and access to the required resources at this link. If you have any questions not covered in the linked article, please contact Christine Hammond
Continuing Education

There are no more continuing education offerings by the chapter for this year, however the Annual Chapter Convention and Meeting has been announced for 2019. Stay tuned for further information concerning attendee and vendor registration.
