Finding Alignment

Arriving in 2023 here at AMTA VT we are setting our focus on Back to Community! Making efforts to lay a strong foundation to make the experience of our volunteers and members easeful and exciting for many years to come. Including reintroducing in person gatherings and education events, as well as hosting meet & greets across the state throughout the year!

AMTA VT Annual Meeting 2023

Join us in person at Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction on

Saturday April 29th 2023!

10am-1pm

We'll begin the day with a meet and greet, community activities, and important Chapter updates followed by lunch and an optional CPR Certification course!

CPR Course 1:30-4pm

AMTA Members: $40

Non-Members: $45

President's Message

Happy winter—the groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter, but it seems almost like spring as I look out my window. Our theme of 2023 is community. We hope to engage our membership more with in-person events. We are trying to build back a strong connection as it seems COVID has affected every part of our practice. We start off this year with our Annual Meeting; April 29th, what’s that you say? Vermont’s annual meeting has typically been in November? You’re right! We voted to change the date of our annual meeting to be more aligned with other AMTA chapters and Nationals policies. This change will allow us to get information and support from Nationals in a more timely manner and help the process of elections and event planning operate more smoothly in the long run. We cannot make these things possible or successful without our awesome volunteers. Like many organizations right now, we find ourselves a bit short staffed. If you have any time or talents to lend to the Vermont chapter to build our community... give us a call, email, or stop us on the street to say hello. We are looking for chairs/cochairs to serve on our committees- Education, govt. relations, communications, and membership. Although we just welcomed and celebrated our new Elected Chapter Leaders at the end of 2022 because of the change in date for our Annual Meeting we are once again preparing to release a Call for Candidates!

Tori is a 6 year member with AMTA VT based out of East Montpelier. She offers support to women and children; specializing in prenatal, postpartum, and infant massage. Sessions happen on her country homestead and include dreamy packages like The Artemis.
