We are going to be accepting applications for president, board member, secretary, and
delegate. To qualify for the positions, other than president, you must be a graduate or
professional member in good standing for at least one year, sign the volunteer and/or
delegate code of conduct, have access to a computer, phone, and internet, willing and
able to commit the time required for the entire term of office, able to travel to required
activities, and read the position description for requested position. The position of
president requires all the things listed above, as well as, completed one term year as a
chapter board member within the last three years or chapter committee, chair or
member, or national board or committee, chair or member, within the last 2 years.
Our chapter board has been very busy the last few years protecting the legal status of
our profession, reaching out to help communities, making sure to keep continuing
education accessible to all, providing a connection between our profession and the
world around us through physical signage and the internet, and much more. Your talents
and skills are important. Your involvement in our profession’s future is needed. Your
energy is wanted.
