New Education Chair - Leah Strutz, LMT
Leah Strutz, LMT is our newly appointed AMTA WI Chapter Education Chair. This is in addition to the other roles she is serving as AMTA WI Chapter Financial Administrator, Delegate & Website Chair.

Leah has been a massage therapist for 11 years. She owns her own massage business, Take Time Therapeutic Massage , in Manitowoc, WI. She is an instructor at the Blue Sky School of Professional Massage in Green Bay, WI and an instructor at the YMCA in Manitowoc, WI. Leah is also a member of the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce. Her organizational skills and training background make her an excellent candidate for the Education Chair position. We look forward to experiencing her influence in this position.

How the Program Works
To earn the AMTA/NCBTMB Sports Massage Specialty Certificate, you must successfully complete all three components of the 30 credit hour program:
  1. Online courses
  2. Hands-on workshop
  3. Sports Massage Specialty Certificate exam administered by NCBTMB.

You can take the online courses and hands-on workshop in any order. Once you have successfully completed the education component, find out  how to apply for the NCBTMB exam . Log in to AMTA's website to track your progress using My Transcript in your profile.
