We are accepting applications for president, board member, secretary, and delegate. To qualify for the positions, other than president, you must:
- Be a graduate or professional member in good standing for at least one year
- Sign the volunteer and/or delegate code of conduct
- Have access to a computer, phone, and internet
- Willing and able to commit the time required for the entire term of office
- Be able to travel to required activities
- Read the position description for requested position.
The position of president requires all the things listed as well as one or more of the following:
- Completed one term year as a Chapter Board member within the last three years.
- Completed one term year as a Chapter committee chair or member within the last two years.
- Completed one term year as a National Board member, National Standing Committee Chair, or National Standing Committee member within the last two years.
Our chapter board has been very busy the last few years dealing with the medical, political, and general communities. Your talents and skills are important. Your involvement in our profession’s future is needed. Your energy is wanted.

Doug Nelson

Douglas Nelson is a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist. The founder of Precision NMT seminars, Doug has taught hundreds of seminars and to various populations from physician's conferences to educational seminars for lay people. Practicing massage therapy since 1977, he has studied with a host of great educators and worked in several clinical environments. He is the president of BodyWork Associates, a sixteen therapist massage therapy clinic in Champaign, IL which has been in operation since 1982.
Doug still maintains a very active practice; he doesn't just teach, he has a busy personal practice (seeing over 1,100 client visits annually); the clinic is the laboratory for the development of PNMT. Doug has treated thousands of clients over the years, from the NBA to the NFL, factory workers, and high level musicians who suffer musculoskeletal pain.
Doug is passionate about the efficacy of the work and has conducted many clinical research studies to investigate PNMT. He is a member of the International Myopain Association and the International Association for the Study of Pain and is also a regular columnist for Massage and Bodywork magazine. He is the author of Table Lessons: Insights in the Practice of Massage Therapy and The Mystery of Pain. He also contributed the chapter on fibromyalgia to the book Massage Therapy: Integrating Research and Practice.

Seth Will

Seth Will is the developer of the Precision Mobilization Program and longtime PNMT instructor. Seth has dedicated over a decade of both formal and informal training and education in massage, acupuncture (intramuscular stimulation), manual therapies, neuroscience, theology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology and human dissection. During this time he has honed and refined his craft for manual/movement therapies and presenting his knowledge with eager pupils. Seth practices in Manitowoc, Wisconsin where he is a manual clinician at Bay Bodyworks with two other PNMT therapists.
He is a member of over a dozen organizations in fields of pain and movement impairments to diverse groups with a focus on literature, sustainable gardening and the culinary arts. Seth is currently active in the Russian Kettlebell program of training as well as the practice of Indian Clubs. He lives in Milwaukee, WI with his wife, Rebecca and their two dogs: Pigwidgeon and Tonks.

Debra Dower
Structural Essentials: Abdomen, Chest and Breath April 1-3
Debra Dower is co-owner of Ananda Integration and Dower Wellness, based out of Lancaster PA. She has over a decade of experience in the alternative health and wellness field. She and her husband, Nick, are currently spearheading the Holistic Therapy movement at Lancaster General Health/ Penn Medicine, where she is the manager of Holistic Therapy. Debra graduated from the Lancaster School of Massage, where she now teaches Anatomy and Physiology. She is a Board Certified Structural Integrator and completed the entire course of study at Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI). Debra is now an assistant teacher at the ATSI course and a teacher for the Anatomy Trains short courses. She has over 1,000 hours of certified yoga instructor training and teaches yoga at Evolution Power Yoga in Lancaster, PA

Susan Salvo is a board certified massage therapist, researcher, and doctor of Education with over 35 years of experience. She has authored two widely used textbooks and presents at seminars across the country. Susan reviews case reports for the Massage Therapy Foundation, was a member of the Massage Therapy Body of Knowledge project, and was honored with the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the AMTA.

Gina Armstrong
Peter Hess® Sound Massage Level I Training on April 2-3
Understanding the connection between body, mind, and spirit is key to healing and well-being. This is something Gina Armstrong firmly believes, and it is what she bases her practice of massage and sound therapy on. Gina helps co-create a safe haven with her clients in order for them to heal and empower themselves on the pathway of quality health. As a 2002 graduate of the Blue Sky School of Massage Therapy, Gina is board certified, state-licensed, and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Gina’s unique style of massage is guided entirely by the needs of the individual and incorporates Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy (NMT), John Barnes MFR, and Myoskeletal alignment. Her technique is also influenced with an infusion of Peter Hess® Sound Massage and Fabian Maman’s Sound, Color, and Movement Modality; Tama-Do Gina's clients come from every walk of life: athletes, executives, acute and chronic pain sufferers, and even babies. Her aim is to first provide them with pain relief and then set them on a course of self-healing.
