Flora Jin, Social Media Chair
Flora Jin is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, studying psychology and molecular and cell biology with minors in nutritional science and music. She enjoys conducting research in the Schekman Laboratory, studying intercellular cargo transfer. She also loves working for Greater Good Science Center in the Pathway to Happiness program, serving as Peace Corps Ambassador, working and volunteering with the Alzheimer's Services of East Bay, Cal Alumni Student Association, and competing with the Cal Badminton team. Flora’s dream is to become a pediatric psychiatrist and to engage in public speaking and research as a physician. AMWA has solidified her desire to become a physician and broadened her horizons in the variety of opportunities along the path to a medical career.
Fun fact: Flora has 2 pet tortoises!
