AMen: News for Men

FALL 2022

The Alpharetta Methodist Men (AMen) conducted a fall fellowship and 2023 planning event Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Alpharetta Fairway Social. The facility provided a private room where the group could enjoy food, fun and fellowship. Jim Tinsley led the group in discussing key goals for 2023. The AMen decided to make family the focus for 2023. The group will be working closely with our Children’s and Student Ministries. Rev. Brad Greene provided insight (and humor) into the wonderful plans currently in the works for Alpharetta Methodist Church.

Husbands, fathers and young men are encouraged to join AMen and develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. All men are encouraged to join the AMen group through our monthly breakfasts; prayer, study and Band groups; quarterly social events; and other activities.

Please refer to the AMen flyer for more details and opportunities.

Save the Date: Feb. 12

FACE TO FACE & WALK TO EMMAUS

YEAR-END EVENTS

A special thank you to Alpharetta Methodist for hosting a 4-day Face-To-Face (F2F) encounter at our Student Center the week of Oct. 24. Those serving on the Team from our church included Ben Powell, Tom Norton, Mike Ewing, Joe Renta, Bud Manbeck and Larry Bradley. F2F is similar to Walk to Emmaus but designed for those over 60 years old who prefer not to attend an off-site retreat facility. It can be a life-changing experience which strengthens your walk with our savior. Please contact Ben Powell (benwpowell@gmail.com, 770-855-7640) for more information on F2F.

The final two 2022 Walk to Emmaus events are planned for November:
