Chapter Highlight

ANAC Mid-South chapter at Pride Fest
The ANAC Mid-South chapter, based in Memphis, participated in Pride Fest, attended by 30,000 people in Memphis this weekend. ANAC members distributed condoms and made new connections with area nurses and pharmacists that they hope to see at the next chapter meeting.

Chapter president Mary Dillard said, "Sharing with folks in the community cannot be understated. I heard several stories about losing someone to AIDS and the barriers to accessing healthcare and other resources while living positive. It's hard to believe these things still exist in 2019! We provided lots of information to people asking about how to get PrEP in our area."
