National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on March 10 serves as a reminder of the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls and the importance of prevention, testing and treatment. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by women and girls living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS.

Together, we can work towards a future free from the burden of HIV/AIDS for all women and girls. Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to this important cause.

The Savvy Her project

Savvy HER is committed to creating a health resource that is both accessible and deeply integrated into the cultural and social fabric of its target audience. The app provides comprehensive education on HIV prevention, sexual health and reproductive issues. It also facilitates connections to essential healthcare providers and community resources, addressing the unique needs of Black women in the South.

The development of Savvy HER was driven by a clear focus on the needs and preferences of Black women, ensuring the app serves not just as a technological tool, but as a supportive partner in their health journey.
