Message from the Nomination Committee Chair
Responding to the call to serve is not always easy. It takes courage and requires a sense of belonging. For me, it took participating in my local chapter before I found my fire for leadership. And now that I've found it, I am using my experiences and perspective to give a voice to many hardworking men and women who serve our children who have not yet found theirs. Now stepping up to serve at the state level, I get to use that voice to inspire others to leap into leadership.

The work of the Nomination Committee is an important job. It is our responsibility to ensure the future governing Board for our organization is diverse and inclusive in demographics, view points, perspectives and experience. The only way we can do that is to make sure the Nomination Committee itself is also diverse and inclusive.

I hope you'll find your fire, answer the strong call to serve, and join me as we vet the future leaders of this great organization.

Sincerely,
Arlene Wetmore
