The HistoryMakers Announces its
2021-2022 Student Brand Ambassadors
The HistoryMakers is pleased to announce that our 2021-2022 Student Brand Ambassadors have been selected from a competitive pool of applicants. There are twenty-four chosen from seventeen colleges and universities, including three from institutions that have The HistoryMakers 2021 Faculty Innovations in Pedagogy and Teaching Fellows: two from Howard University and one from Clark Atlanta University.

Student Brand Ambassadors will serve as official representatives for The HistoryMakers Digital Archive on their respective campuses and will work to increase awareness, knowledge, and use of The HistoryMakers Digital Archive. Additionally, this summer, they will participate in an immersion program where they will work in teams learning how to use The HistoryMakers Digital Archive, do in-depth research, create a weekly blog, newsletter, and social media posts, and develop a marketing plan using their existing contacts, networking skills, and knowledge of the campus to build brand awareness. Brand Ambassadors will also organize and mount an effective and engaging campus-wide 2022 Black History Month Digital Archive Contest.
