ANNOUNCING BLTA’S NEW CEO AND BOARD FOR THE 2025-2026 TERM

Dear members and partners,

 

We are thrilled to announce the new Board of Directors of the Brazilian Luxury Travel Association (BLTA) for the 2025-2026 term. The election, held last Tuesday (24th), reaffirms our commitment to excellence and sustainability, values that have always guided our journey. Starting in October, the members will assume their positions, bringing innovation and dynamism to the new management.

New CEO: Camilla Barretto


Camilla Barretto brings with her a wealth of experience in the luxury hospitality and travel industry.

 

Formerly Director of Operations and Strategic Development at Barracuda Hotel & Villas, Camilla steps into the role previously held by Simone Scorsato, now at Embratur.

In her own words:


“Leading such a well-established and renowned association is a great responsibility. I aim to enhance internal processes, standards, and criteria to ensure our members’ excellence is recognized both in Brazil and internationally.”

With 25 years of experience, including leadership roles at prestigious brands like Vail Resorts, IHG, and Emiliano São Paulo, Camilla stands out for her strategic vision and extensive expertise in luxury hospitality and business development.

 

“I want to help elevate Brazil into a global beacon of authenticity, diversity, and - beyond sustainability - an example of Regenerative Tourism. Today, Luxury Travel is synonymous with excellence in authentic experiences through ultra-personalized services and care for social and environmental impact. In this sense, BLTA members embody this concept on par with the best hotels in the world.”

Graduated in Law from PUC-SP and Hospitality from Senac-SP, Camilla is fluent in three languages and has solid expertise in operations management, luxury hospitality, and has also excelled in retail and consulting projects.
