Starting today, we will be bringing you programming to keep your mind, body, and soul healthy and well. Each week you will receive links, videos, and other media with some familiar faces, names, and resources from other community organizations. First up:
Creative Arts with Masha
Staff member Mariya Keselman-Mekler , MA, ATR-BC, LPC teaches art for relaxation and self-care at KleinLife as Counseling & Program Manager, Creative Arts Therapist for the Wellness Program for Holocaust Survivors.

In this video, she will teach you how to create a mandala , which acts as a circle of protection, using some basic materials that you could have in your home.


Materials Include:
  • Plate and/or Cup
  • Drawing Surface (Printer/Construction Paper or Cardboard)
  • Pen/Pencil/Marker
  • Scissors
  • Collage Materials (Magazines/Newspapers)
  • Glue (or you can make homemade glue)

Observe Yom HaShoah with the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation   on Monday, April 20 at 7:30pm
Now in its fourth year, the  Yellow Candle Project  is an international campaign that aims to foster remembrance of those who did not survive the Holocaust.

Please join the Yellow Candle Project virtual commemoration Monday, April 20 at 7:30-8:00pm ET, where we will join together on Zoom to light our candles and remember the 6 million Jews killed during the Holocaust.
