 Portal Post Office
[Post Woman Joan - she doesn't want to be called "mistress",
and husband Chuck]

The Portal Post Office is certainly one of the few, or maybe only, post offices that is owned by a school district.  It was originally a school for the kids before they went off to high school.  This has been the post office for over 30 years.  Portal used to have its own zip code [85632] before becoming a sub-station of San Simon, which was a rather unpopular decision in Portal.

It is also the social gathering spot, along with the library to its left-rear. Every day residents are chatting with each other and catching up.  Anything that is usable, but unwanted can be left on the porch for anyone to take.
