ELECTOR APPROVAL OF 2022 PROPERTY TAX LEVY

TOWN BOARD SEEKING APPROVAL TO INCREASE LEVY
Town electors are encouraged to attend the 2022 special Town meeting. For the first time in over ten years, the Town Board is recommending, and seeking approval from the electors for, a tax levy increase that will increase property taxes payable in 2023 and beyond.
Associated with the proposed levy increase is a new Road Maintenance Program that would enable more Town roads to be better maintained, thus extending their useful lives and delaying more costly total reconstruction.
