Back to School
Dear Parents,

After many weeks of difficult and thoughtful discussion and deliberation, including with people both inside and outside our own administrative circles about re-opening for the 2020-2021 school year, we now announce that we will start school as originally scheduled on Monday, August 17, 2020 in a hybrid mode, bringing students to campus in small numbers beginning on that date. For those families who have chosen for their students to benefit from remote learning only, this is absolutely available to you.

Included at the following link is our revised, embellished, and most up-to-date re-entry plan. It includes significant details for the first few weeks of school. It is extremely important for all families to read this thoroughly.

Student Schedules
Ascender Parent Portal
Access to the Ascender Grade Portal has been temporarily suspended as we transition records to the new school year. We anticipate that access will be reinstated (and schedules will be available) next week. When access to the portal is reinstated, returning students will be able to use their existing credentials to login and view their 2020-2021 schedules. Freshmen and transfer students will be provided their schedules at the upcoming orientations.

How To Request Changes
To accommodate any need for schedule changes, the academic counselors will establish scheduled appointment windows for students in each grade level. We will send more information in the coming week.

Antonian contracts with Flynn O'Hara Uniforms to be the official provider of uniforms for our students. As such, Antonian expects students to wear only Flynn O’Hara products. Please read the uniform policy below. If you have any questions, please contact the Dean of Students, Mrs. Adela Segura, at [email protected].

Parking Permits
Each student who wishes to drive to school and park on campus, must obtain a parking permit. The cost to obtain a parking permit for the 2020-2021 school year is $50. In order to purchase an Antonian student parking permit, the student must be the holder of a valid driver's license (not a permit) and must present proof of insurance for any vehicle which the student may drive to campus.

Ways to purchase:
  • Online through Active
  • In person with printed "Parking Permit Form"

We encourage families to purchase their parking permit online. Please note that you do not need to sign up for "booking protect" or the "active advantage program" in Active -- these are optional promotions that have no affiliation with Antonian.

If a family chooses to purchase the parking permit in person, please print the form from the link below, bring payment with you to the front office, and copies of the following documents:

  • Copy of student's driver's license
  • Copy of student's vehicle insurance
  • Vehicle Information (make, model, color, and license plate number)
Save The Date
Antonian will still host Freshman and Transfer Orientations. Please note that, due to safe distancing recommendations, times for orientations may vary. More information to come.

Below are some important dates to keep in mind:

August 18th: Deadline for families to accept Hope for the Future financial assistance awards. This can be completed by signing into your FACTS account. Failure to accept the award on or before August 18th, will cause the award to automatically forfeit and can not be reinstated!

August 31st: All (first and final rounds) Hope for the Future awards will be released to Antonian for posting into FACTS. If payment modifications need to be made pending the release of this award, please contact our office.

Tuition Assistance:
Tuition assistance awarded by Antonian's Selection Committee has posted to the family's tuition account. Please know that the Committee prayerfully considered every application (over 165) with the goal of helping as many families as possible with a calculated financial need. Families with reserved awards that currently have a pending or invalid tuition agreement must correct and finalize their plan no later than Monday, August 17th. Please reach out to the Business Office for assistance!

Incoming Freshman Information:
If your child earned the honors of Valedictorian or Salutatorian, please present evidence of the award to our Director of Admissions, Lisa Rosenfeld. All other Middle School scholarships awarded should be directed to our Business Office.
Message From the Athletic Trainer
All parents of students participating in a TAPPS-sanctioned athletic, Fine Arts, or academic organization must register their child's information before the student can participate (includes band, cheer, and dance) in those activities. Please click this link to follow instructions to complete registration for your required parent portal.

Once you have created your parent portal login you will need to enter your child's birthdate (MM/DD/YYYY) to link with their account. Please continue to "start forms." Initially, you will see that your child(ren) will be out of compliance. Click the grey "VIEW" box next to your child's name in order to complete the required forms. Only complete the section that reads "Electronic Documents to be submitted by the parent."

If you have already completed and turned in the "TAPPS Medical History Form" and "TAPPS Physical Form" to Coach Pelagio Halaba, he will upload/input that information into your Rank One Sport student account. If you have not completed those forms, you will see those forms in the "Electronic Documents to be submitted by the parent."

Please note that we are working diligently to complete the student-athlete database, upload all required forms, and provide additional information as it becomes available to us. Please continue to check your parent portal periodically for new forms that may be uploaded over the next couple of weeks.

If you do not see your child(ren)'s name, please send an email to Coach Halaba at [email protected] and he will verify your athlete is being added. We will also be doing routine checks to make sure that all Antonian student-athletes are in compliance. Coach Halaba will reach out to you directly if there are any issues regarding student eligibility.
Studio Benton: School Portraits
This year, Studio Benton is asking that you submit your order online prior to viewing your photo proof. We know this process is different from years past, but they have assured us 100% parent satisfaction. If for any reason you receive your portraits and wish for a better option, Studio Benton will offer a re-take and re-print at no cost.

If for any reason your child was unable to make it this afternoon, your child can:
  • Schedule a private session at Ross Benton's studio (August 5th through the 14th)
  • Have his or her photo taken at Antonian's school wide make-up session (date TBD)

If you have any questions in regards to your child's school photo, please call 210.804.1188 or email [email protected] and they will be able to assist you.
