SOCCER PLAYOFFS

Congratulations to our boys' and girls' soccer teams for what was a successful soccer season. We are proud of our soccer program and, most of all, our dedicated athletes. The Lady Apaches clinched the coveted "district champs" title and both teams will be competing in playoffs for the state title.

ASH WEDNESDAY MASS AND JUNIOR SAT DAY
Wednesday, March 1st 

A reminder to parents of junior students: on March 1, 2017 all junior students at Antonian will have the opportunity to take the SAT at no charge.  Results can be used for college admissions and scholarship applications. The test will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m., so please make transportation arrangements to have your junior son or daughter at Antonian before 8:00 a.m. 

As a result, we will celebrate Mass as a community with distribution of ashes in the afternoon

ACP DRAMA PRESENTS: SHREK THE MUSICAL
March 1st-5th


Based on the Oscar-winning animation film,  Shrek The Musical  is the Tony Award-winning adventure-filled musical that will be playing at Antonian College Preparatory High School  March 1st - 5th at Antonian's Steve Hernandez Theater
 
Shrek the Musical  follows on the heels of several successful productions produced by Antonian College Preparatory High School including Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, and Disney's Aladdin. All proceeds from the shows will be applied toward future theatrical productions and activities of the Antonian College Preparatory Theater Club. We invite you to venture into the swamp and discover a castle filled with characters that will keep you laughing for days.

We congratulate our Antonian girls' and boys' bowling teams for their undefeated district champion wins. The regional tournament will be held in New Braunfels on Sunday, March 5th. We wish them the very best as they continue to reach their goals!

Congratulations to the Antonian Latin Club for its 2nd place performance at the 2017 San Antonio Area B Junior Classical League Competition held this past Saturday at Warren High School with 26 area public and private schools participating.
 
While all great performances that contributed to this victory are too numerous for a brief announcement, some outstanding performances bear mentioning.

CONGRATULATIONS BOYS' AND GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAMS

This past weekend, both our boys' and girls' basketball teams went to compete at the TAPPS regional playoffs . Both teams left it all on the court and we could not be more proud of their determination, talent, and grace as they represented our community. 

We are thrilled to announce that our Lady Apaches are now in the final four, advancing in their bid for the state title!  We send them off with prayers.

CONGRATULATIONS, JUNIOR ZACH RIOS


Antonian junior, Zach Rios, competed in the Junior Shoot-Out Skeet Shooting competition sponsored by the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. The event was held February 
16th-19th at the National Shooting Complex with over 1,100 participants. Zach represented the 4H San Antonio Shooting Sports Club and competed in the sporting clays and trap events.
In Memoriam

Please keep in your prayers the family of Tom Sievers, who passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017.  Tom is the father of Antonian graduates Kimberly '03, Eric '07, and Kevin '10.  

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him.  May he rest in peace. Amen.
