As a reminder, each year, we arrange to have special individual portraits taken of of our seniors. This portrait sitting is mandatory as we use it for our annual yearbook. If your child did not get to schedule an appointment on one of our previous opportunities, please note we will be hosting more appointments on Monday, November 6, 2017. This is a Monday on which there is a school holiday.
There is no required cost to you for the portrait sitting; however, we do make portrait purchase information available to you if you should choose to buy any of them.
The photos are taken by our own Mr. Jesus Ramirez.
Appointments on November 6, 2017 will begin at 11:00 a.m. and are set in 20 minute increments with three students per increment until the last appointment time at 4:40 p.m. Please use the s
ign-up sheet included in the following link:
There are about 40 students who still need to have an original photo taken. There are more than enough appointment slots for the remaining students. In order to manage the flow of appointments for the day, it is VERY important to use the included link--please don't just have your student show up! As we see how many remaining slots there are, we can then begin to open the opportunity for students to take retakes on this day as desired.
All photographs will be taken on stage in the auditorium. Please be prompt!

IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE AN APACHE
|

Exploring The World: Apaches Point Of View
Mrs. Toscano's Engineering class has taken the classroom lessons and applied it to the "real world." Her students built a p
inhole camera
and then went out to put their camera to use. A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny
aperture
. Light from a scene passes through the aperture and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box, which is known as the camera obscura
effect.
Below is an image taken from their pinhole camera and developed in a temporary on-campus dark room. It was a team effort and we are proud of our Apaches and all that they learning.
