Attendance Preference
As we near the beginning of the fourth quarter of the school year, we do so with hopeful optimism that the worst of the COVID pandemic is moving into our rearview mirror. More and more adults are receiving the vaccine, and thus far, we still have not identified any in-school transmission of the virus between students or students and faculty. Acquisition of the virus by members of our community appears to have occurred outside the course of the academic day. For this reason, we want to give parents one last opportunity to change attendance preferences for their children.

  • If you are satisfied and comfortable with the attendance selection you have made for your student remaining in place for the remainder of the semester, you need not take any further action.

  • Alternatively, if you do wish to make a change in the attendance selection, now is the time to do so. Please use the link following this message to communicate the CHANGE in attendance preference.

We ask that any change in preference be remitted as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, March 5th. Changes in attendance preference will become effective upon return from spring break on Monday, March 15th.

If you have any questions, please contact Diann Montemayor, Assistant Principal at [email protected]
Deadline, March 5th

An email from Principal Tim Petersen was sent last week announcing a parent survey in partnership with Excellence with Integrity Institute. We ask all Antonian families to participate in this survey if you have not yet done so. We appreciate your feedback.

The link for the survey is as follows: https://www.research.net/r/sant-parents

When prompted to enter the school's unique survey ID code, enter:  A#701
Save the Date: Prom 2021
We understand that prom is a special night for our juniors and seniors. We would like our families to know that we are currently in the process of planning the 2021 prom. Venues and logistics are still being finalized, but prom is tentatively set for Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Re-Enrollment

Antonian maintains a streamlined re-enrollment process by which your child is automatically re-enrolled for the following school year unless you inform us by a specific date that your child will not be returning.

In keeping with this, we assume that all students are re-enrolling unless a parent/guardian informs us in writing that their child is not returning by Friday, April 9, 2021. Given this, all family FACTS tuition accounts will be charged a $400 re-enrollment fee (per student) on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Please note this re-enrollment fee is non-refundable.

Antonian maintains detailed student and family records based on the information you have provided to us on previous enrollment forms. This information will carry forward to the next school year. Should you need to update any student record information including parent contact information or emergency contact information at any time throughout the year, please use the "Parent/Guardian Contact Form" that is located on our website (under the tab "Current Families").

** Please note, due to the recent inclement weather, the deadline for the class of 2025 enrollment paperwork has been extended to March 5th at 2:00 p.m.**
2021-2022 Transfer Admissions
Now Accepting Applications for Transfer Students

Admissions for the 2021-2022 school year are ramping up! Transfer applications for new students are now open!

If you know someone who is considering making a change for the 2021-2022 school year and would like to apply to Antonian, please share the following information below.
2021-2022 Grant and Aid Application Is Now Open - Apply Today!

  • Applications are coming in for families that would like to be considered for financial assistance. There is not a set income qualifier, but rather applications are reviewed using a calculated formula to determine financial need. Our Financial Assistance Committee will be taking a different approach when it comes to our awards review status, and we encourage you to apply early!
  • If you would like to be considered for financial assistance for the 2021-2022 academic year, please complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application online. Both Hope for the Future and Antonian use the same application, so no need to apply multiple times! Please keep in mind that only completed applications will be reviewed. Use the following information to assist you.
2021-2022 FACTS Peace of Mind Benefit (POM)

  • The POM Benefit will pay any eligible FACTS unpaid balance in the event of the death of the responsible party or his/her legal spouse. Coverage is only available to individuals under age 70. The non-refundable fee for this benefit is $22.50.
  • New families to Antonian will have the option to select this benefit when their FACTS accounts are set up for the first time.
  • Returning families can select this benefit by contacting our Business Office BEFORE their FACTS account is finalized for the 2021-2022 academic school year (deadline March 28th!!). You will be automatically re-enrolled in POM each consecutive year you have a FACTS Payment Plan Agreement unless cancelled during the open enrollment period and before the benefit premium payment processes.

2020-2021 Tuition Past Due Balances

  • Past Due Balances and Missed Payments for SENIORS:  In order to clear seniors for graduation, school policy requires all financial obligations on campus be paid in full by May 14th. Exceptions are not made to this policy, so we kindly ask that you plan accordingly to ensure your senior is cleared to receive his/her graduation cap and gown.

  • Past Due Balances and Missed Payments: Tuition is due on the 5th of every month unless other arrangements have been made. Past due balances and missed payments have an impact on the cash resources used to meet our financial obligations. It is Antonian's policy that a past due balance cannot be carried more than 60 days and missed or unsuccessful payments are subject to late or return fees that can not be waived, so please plan accordingly. Again, if you have experienced or are experiencing financial hardship, please work directly with our Business Office staff as soon as possible.

Please be mindful that this volunteer award is separate and apart from our required ACP Christian Community Service Program.

There are different levels based on the volunteer’s age and the number of hours earned during a one year period. ACP’s certification year runs from April 1st through March 31st.

New Service Opportunity
We know that 2020, and now 2021, have been years unlike any other. We have been forced to change the way we live our lives in order to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes the ways we answer the call as Christians to serve those in need. Service has always been a huge part of our mission as a Catholic school. When we share our time, talent, and treasure with those in need we are truly following in the footsteps of Christ.

Each year students are required to complete 25 service hours in their communities and in focus areas based on their grade level. However, we know that this has become more challenging during the pandemic. In order to respect the health and safety of our students, we have created an alternative to the community service hours we normally require. Students will be able to complete the following service project to fulfill their service requirements for the 2020-2021 school year. Completed packages must be turned into the campus ministry office by April 12th.

Monthly Standard Highlight
"Sarah shows a true example of modeling one's actions after the love God has for his people. She loves deeply and cares for all her family and friends and for even those she doesn't know. Sarah is kind to all and never holds a grudge against anyone.

Even when she has been wronged by a friend, she's quick to forgive and move on in a heartbeat. Sarah loves to help others and often thinks of others before she thinks of herself.

An example of this is that during this pandemic, Sarah has limited going out with friends as much as possible, so she is able to spend time with her grandparents whom she loves so much. Sarah loves to buy presents and give to all, especially those in need. This summer, Sarah volunteered at the SAFB once a week. Every though she was hot and tired, she left with a smile knowing she did something good for others who are less fortunate. It reminds her about how blessed she is. She is truly an example of the word "love!"

Thank you Sarah for being a shining example of our monthly standard and contributing to our Antonian community!
Faculty Highlight: Ms. Mason Finch
A native Texan, Mason Finch made her way back home after graduating from Webster University.

As our Director of Communications, she manages a multitude of important tasks, including keeping our families informed about Antonian. During these unique times, we have seen how crucial communications and social media has been in regards to ensuring our community is aware of what is happening.

In addition to this, she also teaches our Digital Photography and Yearbook classes.

She can be found many times with a camera in hand and phone in another, as she multitasks the daily events and to-do's to help our school run successfully.

It is because of faculty members like Ms. Mason that we are successful and we thank her for all that she does.
