“ A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints.” ~Pope Benedict XVI

Parents,
This week, we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week, as well as National School Counseling Week. It goes without staying that we are grateful for the community that is Antonian and those who serve it along with those we serve.
As more of our family and friends get vaccinated, our hope is that slowly we can come together to celebrate the simple things in life and continue to grow in the love of Christ.
There are several new pieces of information in this newsletter and we hope that you enjoy. As always our prayers to you and yours.
Blessings,
Mason Finch

2020-2021 Tuition Past Due Balances
-
Past Due Balances and Missed Payments for Seniors: In order to clear seniors for graduation, school policy requires all financial obligations on campus be paid in full by May 14th. Exceptions are not made to this policy, so we kindly ask that you plan accordingly to ensure your senior is cleared to receive his/her graduation cap and gown.
-
Past Due Balances and Missed Payments: Tuition is due on the 5th of every month unless other arrangements have been made. Past due balances and missed payments have an impact on the cash resources used to meet our financial obligations. It is Antonian's policy that a past due balance cannot be carried more than 60 days and missed or unsuccessful payments are subject to late or return fees that can not be waived, so please plan accordingly. Again, if you have experienced or are experiencing financial hardship, please work directly with our Business Office staff as soon as possible.

2021-2022 Course Selection Process Reminder
|

On Monday, February 8th, your child(ren) will be receiving their digital course card from Ms. Mason Finch in their school email accounts. Below is a brief overview of the process for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. If you are needing information regarding graduation requirements, please click here.

|
Our goal is to complete this process and have all requests entered into the system by spring break. If a student selects a class that does not match his/her endorsements or for which he/she is not eligible, a counselor will contact the student individually via email, Google Hangout, or Zoom meeting to discuss alternate options.

2021 Student of the Year Campaign: Arden Martinez is asking for your help!
Dear Friends & Family,
Arden Martinez '22 is participating in the 2021 Students of the Year campaign! Over the next several weeks, Arden’s team will be working to raise money and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their mission to cure blood cancers. It’s an honor for them to be a part of such an outstanding group of fellow students, but an even larger honor to be able to work for the patients, survivors and their families.
Arden's goal is to raise $50,000 between now and February 25th. It’s a lofty goal, but she is willing to work hard to reach it. She cannot do it alone and she needs your help!
There are a few ways you can support our fundraising efforts:
1) Donate via her personal fundraising page: https://events.lls.org/stx/sasoy21/nbiggers
2) Share our message & fundraising link with your contacts via email or social media
3) Donate a silent auction item that can be used for the Grand Finale Gala auction
4) Help us secure a corporate sponsorship (Sponsorships start at $5000 and come with many recognition and marketing benefits)
Thank you for your generosity and support. Your donation truly makes a difference and with your help, she is one step closer to a cure for blood cancers.

Catholic Schools Week and National School Counseling Week
|
|
This week, we have celebrated both Catholic Schools Week and National School Counseling Week. We are so very grateful for our community and those we serve. These celebrations give us pause to focus on the blessing that is Antonian and those who help make it the special place that it is.
A special thank you to our dynamic counseling team: Ms. Daniels, Dr. Gonzalez, Mr. Hill, and Mr. Perritano. Thank you for your love and care towards our faculty, students, and families. And it goes without saying, thank you to our teachers, students, and their families. We are blessed!
|
|
Faculty Highlight: Mr. Nicholson
|
|
|
Coach John Nicholson has been with Antonian for two years, though his time teaching has far extended beyond his short tenure with us. Within that time, he has made a mark, both on our students and faculty.
An Aggie by choice, Mr. Nicholson earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He has showcased care and compassion to others through his actions and dedication to his students in and out of the classroom.
From helping a stranded driver on the way to work (only to find out it was an ACP student) to encouraging his athletes, Coach Nicholson inspires those around him with humor and candor.
We are appreciative of educators like Coach Nicholson who are able to reach out and encourage all those around him. Thank you for your continuous commitment to our community each and every day.
