As we step into the holiday season, we hope you have the opportunity to slow down and enjoy time with family and friends. We know many of you have special moments planned with the children in your program as well, and we’re eager to learn of those plans!

We know you bring uniqueness and creativity to your programs, especially during the holidays. Whether it's a simple tradition, a craft project, or an activity centered around giving, we want to hear about it! We know your ideas can be a source of inspiration to others. Virtual

Mandated Reporter Training with DCF

As mandated reporters, family child care educators are required to stay updated on training requirements. Join a virtual session facilitated by the staff at the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) on Monday, Dec. 4, to learn your rights and responsibilities. There will be dedicated time for any questions you may have.

Participants will receive 1.5 hours of professional development.

Office Hours for Educators

Do you have concerns about a child's development? Are you looking for guidance and effective communication strategies with the families under your care? We invite you to participate in our weekly office hours facilitated by Mental Health Consultants, Rebecca Lerer and Alicia Conte.

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45-8:15 p.m. To schedule a session, please reach out to Rebecca at RebeccaL@allourkin.org.
